Return to Work/Education Programmes

KITE (Knockanrawley Information and Training for Employment)

This programme supports people in the community who wish to return to the workforce after a time of unemployment and/or caring duties. Participants gain skills and experience in a range of areas such as catering, horticulture, IT, office skills, caring for children and the elderly, work experience, personal development, etc.  This course runs five mornings per week over a 40 week period. Participants achieve accreditation for their learning via FETAC modules. Participants may be entitled to a training allowance depending on their individual circumstances. The programmes are highly effective and 85% of participants progress to work or further education and training. We are grateful to Department of Social Protection ( DSP) for their continued funding of this course.
