Women’s and Men’s Groups

We have six different women’s groups and a men’s group in the Centre who meet on a weekly basis.

These groups have experience in varying skills, sharing, supporting one another and having fun too! Childcare is provided at a minimal charge for people attending these groups, if places are available. We also have a Men’s Shed group which has engaged in such activities as building their own shed, welding, car mechanics, woodwork etc. as well as networking with other groups around Ireland.

Examples of different types of activities and training which the groups engage in are personal development, building confidence and self-esteem, health & fitness, crafts, computers, drama and art.
There is also a walking group called the Tipperary Strollers.

Within the groups, the participants will find a safe, confidential atmosphere to meet new people and relax.

Together, we can identify and address our needs, both in our own lives and in the community, in general, and hopefully make friends and have fun too!
